Alexis Grace, Michael Sarver, and Danny Gokey were the first three contestants to make it through to the next round of American Idol. Michael and Danny are both worship leaders in their hometown churches and have developed a strong relationship during their American Idol experience, which has included praying and talking about God with each other. Alexis has a daughter and is engaged to the baby's daddy.
The next three American Idol contestants to advance were Kris Allen, Allison Iraheta, and Adam Lambert. Adam was in the touring cast of the Broadway show "Wicked", Allison won a Telmundo reality show, Quinceanera, in 2006 (which landed her $50,000 and a recording contract), and Kris has been with the same girl for seven years.
