Around 1:15 this morning I decided that I wanted to drive to NYC and try and see Adam Lambert on The Early Show. (I live in Virginia.) I messaged my friend and convinced him to go with me. I got to his house around 2 and we were on our way by 2:15!
We drove through torrential downpours and terrifying traffic.. which placed us in New York around 6:30? Except we were in Brooklyn. Not Manhattan. Yeah, we were on the wrong 5th Street. CRAP!
But we remained calm and eventually landed in the right part of New York. We accidentally parked about 20 blocks away from the CBS studio........... FINALLY got to the studio around 8:30. Hung out, got in a decent position to see, ran to the Apple Store to pee, and waited for Adam to come out. He finally came out around 9:30.. did a little sound check, waved to the screaming girls.. got interrupted by Obama. Came back out and did "Mad World"! and then it was over.

Wow! You are amazing! I live an hour from NYC and I wasn't able to make it to the Early Show (I had to work). I admire your determination. You took some incredible pictures!! Thanks for sharing! I was at the Today Show on Thursday, and that was a lot of fun. Soooo many Adam fans, I was thrilled. Are you a Glambert? I'm so excited I just found your blog...I'm going to take a look around now. Thanks again!!
