"On Thursday night (July 30) American Idol runner up a glamazon gay boy Adam Lambert shocked local Atlanta gay bar Blake’s On The Park when he showed up with a gaggle of friends.
He went unnoticed for about 30 minutes before news made its way through the split level bar, amidst a drag show downstairs that Adam and friends enjoyed briefly. He graciously took pictures with excited fans.
The Idol alum spoke with MicahJesse.com exclusively and said, “I’m all over the place. I’m everywhere” about his hectic schedule.
About the entertainment industry he said, “there’s just a sliver of hope left,” and added that his debut album, due in November, is “hot! Lots of heavy beats.” We can’t wait!"

Adam is at the top of his game, getting down an dirty with some Led Zeppelin, keeps the crowd pepped up with a relatively obscure song by Muse, then embraces the highlight of his “Idol” appearances with “Mad World.” After a reprise of another “Idol” favorite, the duet between him and Allison on “Slow Ride,” he takes on his idol David Bowie in an honorable medley. He opens with “Life on Mars,” addresses “Fame” (”Makes a man take things over”) and then grinds up “Let’s Dance.” Even some of his foes enjoyed the show, appreciating the fact he kept the “scream” to a minimum."

New N. Little Rock, AR Tour Recap!
Hi everyone I wanted to tell ya'll about My experience at the Arkansas American Idol Concert last night. I come from a small town of about 1500 in New Mexico lol there were more at the tour last night then My whole town I was like OMG!! the Arena was full and full of excitement. Ya'll need to know I am a Die Hard Adam fan I went decked out in a black Adam shirt, black nails and the Arena was full of Kris fans....it was all cool though because He deserved His night....
Michael started the show Dedicating the show to Kris and I want to say Michael sand wonderful and was full of life and love ...I was very impressed...
Megan was next she came out in a very nice pink dress and sang her heart out.She looked like a Million dollars.
Scott was next coming from a platform up from under the stage dressed like the true profesional He is playing the piano and singing.Which was awsome BTW.
Then Lil came out dressed to kill showing what she was made of..I am telling ya this girl can sing she sang Put a Ring On It and the crown went wild she was great.
And then Noopdog cam out singing and dressed to the tee He has so grown in his singing it was awsome He even did a bit of hip swaggle like You Kno Who and OMG it was great...
Matt was next singing the blues and doing it like He owned the stage (which He did) He had on a white shirt brown pants and a garder on His right sleeve He look great specially when He put on his hat....
Then all came out then with Scott and Matt both playing the pianos it was awsome these people have grown so much it gave Me chills to be able to watch them.

After Intermission allison came out and owned the stage Her voice was over the top and Her energy levalwas wild!! she bounced all over the stage singing wonderfully When she sang Cry Baby I instantly thought of Janis allison was Awsome...
Danny came out and Hes set shocked Me a bit this Man has some moves I tell ya....Danny sang His heart out and the croud yelled out and showed him just how good He was..WTG Danny
And then the lights dimmed the stage lit up and OMG!! it was ADAM!!!! words, pictures,recordings cannot even begin to discribe what He is watching this electrifying show this Man put on all I could do is stand there in Aww!! and not even scream or yell...Hes amazing and deserves everything that comes to him in His world to come....His vocals were spot on every song and I am telling You this man oozess sexuality..When We were leaving I heard a man talking to His wife He said "That Adam is HOT!!)) that bout sums it up guys Hes Hot...I will always remember last night knowing I witnessed a world Wide Star in the making..and trust Me the Arkansas croud showed Him he was also...
Then Kris came on and his Home state welcomed him with a standing ovation for at least 5 min it was awsome Kris's set was awsome He reallly rocked out and the crowd made it knows this was Kris's night I was so happy for Him...I also set across from where His family was in a press box and got to see Kris with His family....
I want to end this by saying all thes Young Men and Women have grown into full blown stars and it was a honor to see them if any of You out there have a chence to see them even if its in the nosebleed section go because its worth every penny you pay for the ticket and every min You set and listen to them

Don’t get me wrong - if you’re most riveted by a big, big rock voice with flashy costume and sizzling slinkiness to match, Adam is your guy - he navigated easily between the flames of “Whole Lotta Love,” the moody poignance of “Mad World” and a punchy David Bowie medley, including a “Life On Mars” that gave me chills."

Reality check: When runnerup Lambert so much as snarled, the crowd had a hernia. They loved dreamy acoustic winner Kris Allen, too, but comparatively? Uh … oh look, a text message!"

BTW - There were rumors all over Twitter and the various Adam forums last night about him not coming out after the show (or to the after party) due to "security issues". Seems like Adam may have a stalker problem... poor bb :[ All the talk about it got "Adam Lambert" to be the number 1 trending topic on Twitter though!

Adam gets my props for glam-rocking the house with a David Bowie medley. He’s the best showman, for sure, in a Judas Priest-meets-Liberace studded leather jacket with tails. But at some point, his shrieking becomes self-indulgent and irritating. Adam Lambert is all about Adam Lambert."

Evan Rachel Wood voiced her opinion on Adam.. "But age aside, if he was straight and she was single Miss Wood admitted she would totally go for "Idol" runner-up Adam Lambert. "I probably couldn’t help myself, that guyliner is so amazing," she gushed. "But he’s got an incredible voice, talent is very sexy. I love that he’s so androgynous, he just doesn’t care, has fun and wears whatever he wants.""
and so did Kris Allen: "Does Kris feel any pressure to be a role model of one sort or another, as the Christian guy who's pals with the gay guy? "No," he answers flatly. "What would I have to be pressured about? I'm just trying to be me. If people don't want me to be friends with Adam, that's their problem, not mine. Adam's an amazing person, and I'm so happy to call him one of my really good friends.""

Can't the fans just get along??
Since this site used to be focused on both Adam Lambert AND Danny Gokey, I thought I should share this article with you all. Danny wants his fans to get along with Adam's fans, and I agree!!! Leave your opinion on this matter in the comments!From MTV:
One's a makeup-wearing, "Twilight"-loving gay man, and the other's a devoutly religious worship leader from a small town in Wisconsin. Nope, it's not the pitch for a new sitcom, but rather the reality of "American Idol" finalists Adam Lambert and Danny Gokey, currently on the road for the American Idols Live! tour.
With such a disparity between the two performers, it's not surprising that the singers' fanbases have as much in common with each other as Paula Abdul and MC Skat Kat. Sadly, instead of singing and dancing about their differences, the rival fans are screaming at each other on the Internet. And Danny Gokey thinks it's gone too far.
"It's not cool. They tend to bash each other," Gokey told MTV News at the recent "Idol" tour stop in L.A.
In fact, Gokey cites the unfortunate fan friction as the main reason stories began surfacing about a supposed Adam/Danny feud.
"There's a lot of made-up stories about how me and Adam are behind the scenes, like, punching each other and fighting. And me and Adam are like, 'Uh, hi, guys! We're buddies! We're cool!' " Gokey insisted.
Gokey and Lambert even took to Twitter, telling their fans to take a chill pill. Gokey said their fans' response was frustrating. "They [didn't] believe it! 'That's a false Adam, that's a false Danny! It's not them.' "
The reluctant Danny and Adam fans finally came around when Lambert's Twitter account was hacked (in an unrelated incident) and saw that Adam chose Danny's account to spread the news. The two singers also began appearing in several video BubbleTweets together.
"Since the BubbleTweets, things are calming down," Gokey said. "I've seen on my Twitter account some people are saying, 'Oh! You and Adam are cool. OK, we're fine with that!' "

Adam Lambert was mentioned in an interview with Alisan Porter, here..
Adam (and 4 of the other Idols) talks about "life on the road" before the San Diego show, here.. "Dressed in a gray T-shirt and jeans, Lambert's slimmer than he appears on TV, and his dark eyeliner and mascara seem more exotic. He's friendly, funny, informal and far more spontaneous in his answers than the others."

"Adam Lambert To Fuse Classic-Rock Sound With 'Dancier' Vibe On Debut"
Adam Lambert wasn't too excited when his unofficial music hit the Web last month, but now he's in control.
MTV News caught up with Lambert before the American Idols Live! tour stop in Los Angeles, and he was more than happy to share details about his upcoming debut album.
"It's kind of taking the best parts of music from the '70s, like the classic-rock era, and trying to somehow fuse it with modern, dancier, electronic production," the "American Idol" runner-up explained. "It's kind of a fusion thing."
We already told you Lambert was teaming up with Lady Gaga producer RedOne, but he has a few other hitmakers up his sleeve as well. He'll be working with Greg Wells, the producer and songwriter behind hits by Pink, Katy Perry and original "American Idol" champ Kelly Clarkson. OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder, who wrote Leona Lewis' "Bleeding Love," is also onboard, as is Linda Perry (Christina Aguilera's "Beautiful," Gwen Stefani's "What You Waiting For" and much more).
Just like during his "Idol" journey, Lambert is planning to shake up tempos and styles on the yet-untitled LP.
"It goes back and forth," he said. "There's some ballads, there's some uptempo, there's some songs that are a little bit more straightforward, current pop. There are some songs that are more dance; there are some songs that are straight rock."
So what's his favorite song so far? "I can't tell!," he laughed. "I'm not allowed."
But he does promise to deliver. "The music's gonna be great. Just wait a couple months. You gotta be patient."

Movieline asked the top 10 Idols what their favorite movie scenes were.. here is what Adam Lambert had to say: “One of my favorite movies of all time is Velvet Goldmine, by Todd Haynes, and the scene that comes to mind is when Ewan McGregor’s character is first introduced and he’s a singer, a rock star, and the camera comes in on him — he’s on stage — and he gets naked, pours beer all over himself, then glitter on top of that. He shakes the glitter can around his crotch like he was jerking off onto the audience and then lights the foot of the stage on fire. And to me, that just sums up everything that a rock star should be. It’s like a fantasy sequence. That movie is absolutely brilliant — and a little underrated in my opinion, too. I was about 22 when I first saw it, and I was just like, whoa. It’s a movie loosely based on a Ziggy Stardust-type character and an Iggy Pop-type character. It doesn’t specifically name them but they’re clearly modeled after those two rock stars, and it’s just cool. It’s a love letter to the glam scene.”

Adam: Oh, that was fun. It was six people, and I don't give a s--t. The amount of support, even in Utah of all places, everywhere else has been overwhelming. There will always be people who have their opinions. I don't care.
